Andrew Bickar
Executive Chef
Chef Andrew uses his unique abilities to design the wonderful eclectic menus of the restaurant, as well as the concept of menus and food for the many special events and wine-maker dinners. Born in Olympia, WA and raised on the harbor in Aberdeen, Andrew left Washington in 2000 for the wild skies of Montana. Invested in the pursuit of a finance degree from Montana State University, he soon realized his passions lie within the kitchen.
Working under some of Montana’s most acclaimed chefs, Andrew quickly worked his way up the ladder, and within four years of education assumed the role of Sous Chef at The Bay Bar and Grille in Bozeman, MT. After his extended stay there, Andrew was offered a position as one of the top chefs of the Gallatin River Lodge, widely known as Bozeman’s finest restau-rant. By this time, Andrew’s culinary skills were winning praise throughout Southwest Montana, and two years later was offered the Executive Chef position at the world famous Five Rivers Fly Fish-ing Lodge in Dillon, MT where he loved working, fishing and sharing tall tales with his esteemed clients from all over the world. His talent, skill and creative mind continue to bring the wonderful ingredients of the northwest to the plates and hearts of all of our guests.
